Alberto Bianco joined Pavia e Ansaldo in 2015 as a Partner.
Alberto is an expert in extraordinary corporate transactions including acquisitions and disposals of businesses and of shareholdings, leveraged buy outs, mergers, demergers and corporate restructuring.
He regularly advises on preparing family businesses for generational handovers. Alberto advises leading private equity funds as well as Italian and foreign companies on investment, acquisition and exit/disposal transactions, from the structuring phase to execution.
Alberto has acquired considerable expertise in debt restructuring and the managing of distressed companies, having successfully negotiated numerous arrangements with creditors (both aimed at the winding up of the company and at its continuing to do business) as well as a number of corporate turnaround procedures pursuant to Section 67, sub-section 3 (d) and Section 182bis of the Italian insolvency law.
Alberto is a frequent lecturer and speaker at Master's courses and events as well as author of numerous articles dealing with corporate, commercial and insolvency matters.

Giuseppe Alessandro Galeano works mainly out of Pavia e Ansaldo's Milan office, where he is a member of the Tax Department.
He has over twenty years of experience in assisting national and international clients, both with ordinary tax consulting and corporate acquisitions and reorganizations. Specialized in assisting national and international private equity funds in the acquisition and restructuring of Italian companies.
Giuseppe is a lecturer and speaker at Master's courses and events as well as author of numerous articles dealing with tax law.
Marco Jannon has been a partner of Pavia e Ansaldo since 2019 and is working out of our Milan office, where he heads up the Tax Law Department.
Marco has for years been dividing his professional activity between extraordinary and daily assistance to multinational companies, with a particular focus on clients operating in the energy sector and the management of teams specialized in transfer pricing analysis. He has solid experience in M&A transactions, both in a domestic and cross border context.
He is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
Mario Di Giulio has been a partner of the firm since 2007 and shares his time between our Rome and Milan offices.
Mario has extensive experience in the banking and finance sector and thanks to his background both as practicing attorney and as in-house lawyer in leading banks has honed his skills in the structuring, leading and managing of deals in his areas of specialization, where he is recognized as a major Italian expert in securitization and structured finance transactions.
Mario also has consolidated experience in debt capital market and derivatives transactions.
Mario has cooperated with the European Commission for searching credit enhancement mechanisms to finance the infrastructure development in eastern Africa, taking part in the drafting of international agreements.
The in-depth knowledge of the companies, also internal, has led Mario to carry out compliance activities as member of many supervisory bodies set up pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/2001.
He is Chairman of the Supervisory Body of S&P Global Ratings, Italian and Spanish branches, and a member of the International Bar Association (IBA).
Mario is Adjunt Professor of Law of Developing Countries at Campus Bio-Medico University and Member of the Scientic Committee at Luiss Guido Carli Universty - Master in Fashion Law.
Mario J. Abate is Of Counsel to the Firm and is located principally at the Milano Office, conducting his profession in connection with the Desk US.
Mario has gained extensive experience in M&A, start ups of businesses in Italy and abroad principally in the field of fashion and luxury, and other forms of business transactions, providing legal advice and assistance to Italian and foreign clients in out of court dispute settlements international joint ventures ,and other transactional matters, including labor, licensing, Italian and US corporate and commericial law and the establishment of foreing Trusts.
He is a Fellow of the American Bar Association (ABA) as well as the International Bar Association (IBA) and the New York State Bar Association.
Mario Nunziata works mainly out of Pavia e Ansaldo's Milan office, where he is a member of the Tax department.
Tax advisor, CPA and certified auditor, he assists primary multinational corporations either in domestic or international tax matters. He mainly advises on direct and indirect taxation, international and european taxation, transfer pricing, M&A transactions and pre-litigation procedures.
He is member of International Fiscal Association (IFA), of International Bar Association (IBA), of CFE Tax Advisers Europe, of the International Tax Committee and National Tax Committee (direct tax) of ODCEC Milan.
Massimiliano Elia has a wide and varied experience in financial and insurance matters, with particular regard to mergers and acquisitions and structured finance transactions. In the field of litigation, he provides legal assistance in structured finance, capital and debt markets for banks, public bodies, companies and individuals and is frequently appointed as an arbitrator, also in the capacity of chairman. He is the author of several publications, including the "Compendium on derivative contracts" and the "Reference practices in banking and finance".

Adriano Villa is the country partner for Japan and head of both the Japan Desk in Milano and the Tokyo Office (which he visits frequently). He has lived and worked as a lawyer in Japan for several years, and is - to date- the only Italian lawyer to have ever been admitted to the legal profession in the country as a foreign attorney ("Gaikokuho-jimubengoshi").

Carlo Emanuele is a partner of Pavia e Ansaldo and works out of our Milan office.
He advises national and international corporations on corporate and M&A matters, including due diligence procedures, mergers, acquisitions, business purchase and business leasing transactions, joint ventures, private equity investments, restructuring, winding-up procedures, IPOs, shareholders' agreements and corporate governance.
He assists corporations operating in the energy sector and in the development of energy plants and storage and logistics. In particular, he has developed a significant experience in biofuels industry.
Carlo Emanuele has a wealth of experience in franchise and distribution systems and has advised several international corporations in introducing and implementing distribution systems in Italy, as well as domestic companies in expanding their business worldwide, being recognized as a leading franchising lawyer by the International Who's Who of Business Lawyers.
He is member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and honorary member of CILS, the Center of International Legal Studies.
