I was a keen hockey player and represented Coventry at Athletics; it was at the age of 17, when I was told by a specialist that a knee injury would prevent me from playing any competitive sport again that I decided to research the injury myself. Two operations later and six months of intensive rehab I was back to full fitness." "Educating the client in how their injury occurred is essential to managing and avoiding the reoccurrence of the injury. I believe a great number of injuries are caused through incorrect technique, whether it be a backhand shot in tennis or the positioning of a work station. My treatment approach aims to correct these techniques whilst treating the injury and encouraging the client to take an active part in their own rehabilitation." "I work with the principle that every injury is unique, so the treatment plan will be too."
