I have always had a desire to build and create things; it started with Legos and erecter sets, then model air planes and ships, and eventually I discovered woodworking. After high school, I took a two year, cabinetmaking course at Hennepin Technical College. This course covered everything from basic joinery to furniture making to building and installing kitchen cabinets. It also introduced the students to the industry standard tools and gave us lots of hands-on experience. It was there that I discovered that I not only have a love for woodworking but also a knack. I gained the skills and confidence to take on most any woodworking project and especially enjoy the unique and unexpected. Since school I have been building custom furniture and making cabinet alterations alongside my painting business with my father...
