Like most kids that grew up in the 60's I wanted to be an astronaut, but no matter how old I get making it to space will always be my dream. Somehow I ended up spending thirty years in banking. In my spare time I write, take photos, spend time with my two German Shepards, and tackle my long list of projects... I keep the passion I felt for spaceflight then and now alive by researching and writing about the history of the space program. my blog, "The Conquest of Space" is a mix of the little known aspects of space history, robotic exploration, and commentary on the current state of space programs around the world.
