The GEDC is a cross-disciplinary center within Georgia Tech focused on the development of advanced nanophotonic and nanoelectronic systems, using AI-enhanced design tools, innovative components and architectures, and novel technologies. The primary area of focus of GEDC is the intersection of Electromagnetics, RF devices and circuits, Photonics, and Machine Learning/Signal Processing. Examples include SiGe/Si heterojunction devices and circuits, Si-based photonics, RF circuits, RF MEMS resonators and sensors, mm-Wave on-chip antennas, THz channel measurements, and RF energy harvesting. Our graduates become scientists, engineers, professors, and entrepreneurs, working in academia, industry, and governments around the world... GEDC's mission is to empower our industry partners to become technology leaders by promptly transferring the innovations of our faculty and students to the industry for commercialization. Our industry partners collaborate directly with GEDC faculty and students..
