Adam Laufer, Esq. holds a BA in Economics from California State University, Northridge, and a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School. Adam is a driven advocate ready to make a meaningful impact for his clients. Adam's commitment to excellence earned him a Dean's Merit Scholarship in Southwestern Law School's SCALES honors program. He sharpened his skills volunteering for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office as a law clerk in his first year and spent the remainder of his law school career clerking for a small special education law practice in Los Angeles. After finishing law school, Adam represented disabled students against California school districts as an associate attorney and special education advocate before ultimately joining HBK Lawyers. Outside the legal arena, Adam enjoys quality time with loved ones and pets, tends to his houseplants, and plays board games with friends.

Melissa received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. She joined Haig B. Kazandjian Lawyers, APC during law school as a Law Clerk. Additionally, she interned at Neighborhood Legal Services and the Eviction Assistance Center at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, where she helped to provide free legal assistance to families across Los Angeles County. Melissa's legal experience includes landlord-tenant matters and employment matters, such as Private Attorneys General Act lawsuits, Class Actions, and Wrongful Termination cases. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her two pugs, pilates, and watching reality TV.

Attorney Raffi Tapanian studied History and Armenian Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, and graduated in 2019. In 2019 he began his study of law at Loyola Law School. In 2022, he received the Judge Barry Russell Federal Bar Association Award for Excellence in the Field of Federal Practice, which is awarded to one student from each of the five Los Angeles-area ABA-approved law schools. He graduated from Loyola Law School in 2022. Raffi began working at Haig B. Kazandjian Lawyers, APC as a law clerk in 2020 and transitioned into working as an attorney after he was admitted to the California State Bar in 2022. In his spare time, Raffi enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching and playing sports, and reading.
