Prior to this, he worked at Humanim, a nonprofit, human services organization. He also is a former Presbyterian pastor, who last served at Christ Memorial Presbyterian Church in Columbia.
Pastor of Columbia Baptist Fellowship, Columbia, MD; founding board member of the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Bristol, TN/VA (provides temporary housing for homeless families); sponsor of the Bristol Ministry Mall in Bristol, VA, a bringing together of various services for the homeless; board member and president of the board for Bristol Faith in Action, a large ecumenical ministry that assists with housing needs of the poor and homeless.
