Barry Pitegoff

Barry Pitegoff is a Staff Chaplain at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, New York. Barry enjoyed thousands of hours of volunteer chaplaincy at hospitals, hospices, and prisons while he was vice president of market research for Visit Florida, the state's tourism board. After retirement, Barry transformed into professional chaplaincy by taking a second Master's Degree and two years' of hospital internships. Barry was awarded the title of BCC, Board Certified Chaplain at the May 2019 conference of the NAJC (Neshama: Association of Jewish Chaplains). In 2020, Chaplain Barry was elected to the Board of NAJC, serves on Chaplain Review Committees, and facilitates a monthly national video call of Jewish hospital chaplains.

Donald M. Friedman

Donald M. Friedman, M.D. received his undergraduate A.B. degree from Princeton University in 1966 and his M.D. from The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1970. He was trained in Internal Medicine at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, R.I. and Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Following his Medical Internship and Residency, he did a Fellowship in Medical-Psychiatric Liaison at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where he learned about the emotional aspects of medical illness. He was also a Fellow in Rheumatology at Temple University Hospital where he was trained to treat arthritis, musculoskeletal, and collagen diseases. From 1976-2004, Dr. Friedman was Chief of the Section of Rheumatology at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, a large community teaching hospital outside of Philadelphia. Since retiring from medical practice in 2004, he has been interested in Spirituality and Healthcare and has taken courses at Harvard Medical School in the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine and at the George Washington Institute of Spirituality and Health. He currently teaches courses in Professionalism and Introduction to Clinical Medicine at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. He is Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Howard Silverman

He earned a BS from Drexel University, and an MBA and PhD (Marketing) from The Ohio State University. He lives in Pompano Beach, Florida, where he delights in the area's tropical lifestyle, cultural diversity, and business vitality.

Len Berman

Len Berman's professional career began as an English, drama, and humanities teacher in New York City in 1961. By 1969 he was the New Jersey State Consultant in Arts and Humanities. He continued his twenty-seven years with the New Jersey State Department of Education as a Schools Program Coordinator, retiring in 1996. His career continues as an educational consultant, as a teacher of Judaica, and as a writer. He lives with his wife, Toby, in Voorhees, New Jersey. He has nine brilliant grandchildren.

Lord Rabbi Jonathan Sacks

Rabbi Richard F. Address, D.Min, is the Founder and Director of www.jewishsacredaging.com. Rabbi Address served for over three decades on staff of the Union for Reform Judaism; first as a Regional Director and then, beginning in 1997, as Founder and Director of the URJ's Department of Jewish Family Concerns and served as a specialist and consultant for the North American Reform Movement in the areas of family related programming. Rabbi Address was ordained from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in 1972 and began his rabbinic career in Los Angeles congregations.
