L.A. CO-OP LAB ACADEMY - Key Persons

Dominique is a lover, a fighter, a daughter, and a sister. They are an herbalist, rootworker, food and economic justice educator, born and raised in Tongva lands, Compton and Inglewood, CA. They are in love with the land, and the land is in love with them. They believe deeply in the building of alternative realities, and have been working in co-ops for 11 years, now as a Co-op Developer for LA Co-op Lab. They are also the founder of Black Roots Herbals LLC, an Earthforce committed to the practive of culture-keeping, and the dreaming of freedom dreams. A Black Mississippi Chickasah woman, Dominique continues to plant seeds and be in community, building systems for a liberatory future.
