Mr. Bijay Sahoo has over 24 years of experience in leadership positions in leading National and Global corporations. He specializes in the areas of Human Resource Management, Leadership Development, Organization Development and Change Management. He is currently the President - HR responsible for RIL's emerging consumer businesses such as Reliance Retail and 4G Infotel. He is a Board Member of Reliance Fresh, Reliance Trends, Reliance Digital and Reliance Footprint. He is part of the Central Leadership Team and an "Executive Council Member" of Reliance Retail, Value Format. Prior to this role, Mr. Sahoo was the Vice President and Global Head HR of Wipro Technologies. In this role, he developed and practiced many innovative and successful Talent Strategies, Policies, Processes, Compensation and Benefits programs for Wipro's global operations and handled many Mergers and Acquisitions internationally. Prior to Wipro, Mr. Sahoo was the Principal Consultant in PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was the leader of the HRM consulting practice of the Management Consulting Division of PwC in India. Prior to PwC, he was the Manager / Head HR in two large commercial banks in India. He was for over 5 years the Chairman of Conference Board's HR Council in India. He also served SHRM India in its "Advisory Board". Mr. Sahoo is currently the Chairman of RASCI i.e. Retail Skills Council of India which is promoted by Retailers' Association of India (RAI) and the leading Retailers of the country with a grant from National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). He is also the Chairperson of RAI's HR Committee. He serves on the Governing / Advisory Boards of many reputed Universities and Educational Institutions. He has been a speaker in the areas of Talent Management and Leadership Development in India and also in programs organized by the leading Global forums in USA, Europe, China, Hong Kong etc.

James is a graduate in commerce & economics with 18 years of professional experience (10 years of Business Management & 8 years of HR Training / Organisation Development) spanning across - Concept, Consumer Durables, Consumables, Banking, IT, Telecom, Dairy & Retail. He has progressively managed city, state, regional, national & international profiles. He has worked with India's largest - Retailer (Reliance Retail), Private Sector Company (Reliance Industries Limited), Mobile Retail Chain (The Mobile Store), Training Solutions Provider (NIS Sparta Limited), Telecom Company (Bharti Airtel Limited), Bank (HDFC Bank Limited), 1st Private ISP (SIFY), Tyre Manufacturing Company (Apollo Tyres Limited) & Consumer Durables Company (BPL Limited) besides having worked for one of the largest conglomerates in Vietnam (TH Group). He is currently the Executive Head of Retailers Association's Skill Council of India (RASCI).
