In 2015, the Rehoboth Economic Development Committee (EDC) conducted a survey to gain better understanding of what residents and voters thought about business expansion. Results of the survey are still available on the town website. At the time, most residents favored moderate business development while strongly valuing the rural character of the town. We are once again conducting our survey and hope you will participate... As we enter 2019, Rehoboth remains stuck in a difficult position economically. Supporting the needs of both schools and public services is major problem with a tax base that is primarily residential. We face an even greater economic hardship in years to come with most of our public buildings in deplorable condition... Residents and voters and encouraged to participate in an opinion survey on economic development in the Town of Rehoboth, Massachusetts
