Augustus F. Brown is a very accomplished and experienced plaintiff's trial attorney practicing in state courts in the northeast area of Maryland as well as the federal court in Baltimore. He specializes in representing the injured and is recognized by his peers for his effective litigation skills, his knowledge of the law and his professional work ethic. His jury trial experience includes representing clients who were injured in motor vehicle collisions, by defective products, on unsafe premises and at work. Mr. Brown also teaches trial skills to lawyers and is a faculty member of the Keenan Trial Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. He is the Dean of the Institute's school teaching other lawyers how to conduct jury focus groups. He also teaches trial attorneys skills to best prepare clients for deposition and trial testimony. A Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, Mr. Brown is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and was president of the Maryland Chapter until 2019. Mr. Brown is also a jury trial consultant and focus group facilitator providing trial consulting services nationally to plaintiffs' trial attorneys. He is also a mediator and arbitrator conducting mediation and arbitration services for cases involving personal injury. Augustus F. Brown has received an AV rating by Martindale Hubble, its highest designation for legal ability and adherence to ethical conduct. Colleen Ferg Helmlinger - Shareholder

Colleen Ferg Helmlinger is an esteemed member of the local legal community who has served, or serves currently on a variety of boards, memberships and committees for charities and professional organizations. She is described by clients and colleagues as being a very engaged and communicative attorney who is adept at finding solutions to problems on behalf of those she serves. She concentrates her practice in corporate mergers and acquisitions, real estate acquisition and development, commercial law, and non-profit organizations. She represents clients in business formations, preparation of MBE certification applications, corporate cleanup, maintenance, and transactional work, trademark filings, commercial financing for lenders or borrowers, preparation of tax exempt applications for non-profit organizations. Colleen's practice involves considerable emphasis on representation of entrepreneurs and existing small businesses including buy-sell agreements for businesses consistent with estate planning documents of its individual owners. She is a former chair for the Pro-Bono Committee for the Harford County Bar Association, current co-chair and speaker of the CLE Committee of the Harford County Bar Association, a former board member for the Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna, Inc., a former board member for Harford Family House, Inc. and a member of the Chesapeake Professional Women's Network and the Women's Giving Circle of Harford County. She most-recently served as Co-Chair of the Legislative Committee for the Harford County Chamber of Commerce. Joseph F. Snee - Shareholder

Joseph F. Snee Jr. is one of the leading real estate and development attorneys in Harford County, a reputation acquired as the result of more than three decades of legal service to the local community. Mr. Snee has extensive experience in land use, real estate, landlord/tenant, business, construction, criminal, liquor license and litigation. Mr. Snee's practice also involves considerable emphasis on government relations with Harford County and the State of Maryland. He was appointed by former Governor William Donald Schaffer to the Maryland Environmental Services Board of Directors in 1994 and has been reappointed since, to subsequent four-year terms by Governors Glendening, Ehrlich and O'Malley. He has been involved in a variety of local charity and community efforts since the 1980's. He also served as the campaign chairman for Harford County Circuit Court Judges Waldron, Marshall, Baldwin, Carr, Plitt, Eaves, Bowen, Curtain and Mahoney. Outside the office, Joe is a huge fan of the Maryland Terrapins and Baltimore sports teams. He is married and the proud father of two.
