BUTLER HOUSE

The Butler House is a Craftsman-style Foursquare residence built circa 1910 for the sales manager of the Carborundum Company, George W. Chormann (The Chormann House). The house was designed by Chester R. Phelps (1872-1965), an architect responsible for many buildings in Niagara Falls and Lockport. The house was converted to a Bed & Breakfast in 2004 by the Yoder family who added three bathrooms on the 2nd floor, as well as modified the 3rd floor as living quarters.
