I am an assistant professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Washington University in St. Louis... My research focuses on computer security and privacy. Specifically, I focus on bringing transparency and control in computing systems to empower users, platforms, and regulators to improve user privacy and security. Current focus areas include the web (e.g., online tracking issues), emerging technologies (e.g., issues in IoT and LLM platforms), and technology policy (e.g., auditing under CCPA and GDPR).
