Heather`s background as a business change management and performance improvement consultant involved her working with and coaching senior management teams often in very challenging and stressful environments. Her interest in the human aspects of these changes grew and she studied human and developmental psychology before formally retraining and qualifying as a counsellor and psychotherapist.
Heather now works for the NHS and in private practice, where she retains a particular interest in working with people in professional roles who struggle to maintain their mental wellbeing. Often the very qualities which make someone successful in business can be problematic in their personal lives, leading to a sense of internal conflict and unease. Conversely, a person's unconsciously held beliefs about themselves may hold them back from performing at their best. Bringing these issues into awareness through psychotherapeutic work is often transformational.
Integrating a range of methods, including Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Heather works with individuals to explore and change established patterns of behaviour and communication which may no longer be appropriate or effective. By gaining deeper insight into their own processes, her clients are empowered to make changes which are sustainable long after therapy has ended.

As a solicitor with over 10 years legal expertise in intellectual property and commercial litigation both in private practice and in-house Lisa has extensive experience of working within the professional service sector and across a variety of industries.
Lisa set up Citrus to help develop people skills within the professional service sector. She believes that through coaching, professionals can develop personal skills which will bring huge benefits to their organisation as well as to their personal lives.
