Alex Coppock

Alex is an award-winning architect whose prime responsibility is to work closely with you and lead the Communion team in bringing your project to life. He generally leads on the initial briefing and works on developing the design that transforms your space and realises your aims. He further helps to ensure that projects are priced and delivered to the agreed designs.

Anne Tindall

Job Titles:
  • Practice Administrator
Anne leads on setting up all the projects and manages the regulatory aspects of Stage One of our process. Anne is invaluable at Stage Two by inviting enquiries for potential contractors and then issuing and reviewing tender information. Anne is in charge of Communion's policies as well as being our GDPR Officer responsible for contact information being kept up-to-date.

Geoff Rhodes

Job Titles:
  • Senior Architectural Technician
Geoff has 40 years' professional architectural technician expertise. His forensic approach comes to bear during the detailed design stage of projects because he is responsible for material specifications. His work gives certainty to those who price and produce the work and ensures all aspects will conform to the regulations and standards demanded of modern building projects.

Karen Corfield

Job Titles:
  • Communications and PA
Karen joined the team from a background in conference and events management. She works in a communications and PA role and is responsible for liaising directly with our clients, particularly in terms of being a good point of contact between Alex, Tony, Geoff and other members of the design team. She is also responsible for Communion's social media, publicity and publishing. Karen is office-based and therefore often a good place to begin with any communications!

Leigh-Robin Bainbridge

Job Titles:
  • Architectural Technician
Leigh-Robin has extensive experience designing healthcare buildings in her native South Africa. She has moved to England and now works closely with the team on the design elements of projects during Stage 1 and Stage 2. She is also responsible for chairing the monthly technical team meetings where every client project is reviewed, updated and progressed.

Lucy Phillips

  • Interior Designer
Lucy is a seasoned interior designer with a wealth of experience, having begun her career in a bustling commercial practice in Cardiff. She now works closely with both clients and the design team to cultivate a clear vision for the interior execution of our clients' projects. Her passion lies in creating well-designed environments that not only enhance functionality, but also elevate the human experience within it.

Maureen Cosby

Job Titles:
  • Office Manager
Maureen is responsible for the smooth running of Communion's office and her exceptional organisational skills are vital in ensuring our projects run efficiently. She leads on checking planning application progress and responding to issues raised during the determination period. She works closely with Mel and Alex on issuing invoices, so if you have any queries with any invoice received she can answer any questions.

Mel Coppock

Job Titles:
  • Surveyor and Finance Officer
Mel's expertise is central to the smooth running of every home extension and reordering project. His accurate scale drawings of the buildings make developing the best solution much easier and enable our architectural team to develop accurate plans. He also acts as our Financial Officer and can always be contacted for any queries in regard for invoicing, payments and accounts.

Neil Williams

Neil is a multi-disciplined designer who produces the 3D CAD models and immersive animations that bring projects alive. His work allows everyone to understand the spaces being proposed and make difficult design decisions with certainty before projects become real on site. Neil also produces Communion's 2D media and communications materials in the form of books and stationery.

Tony Taylor

Tony is the principal point of contact on site. He is responsible for ensuring things run smoothly and every element of the build is finished to the highest of standards. He leads on our commitment to meeting the targets of RIBA's 2030 Climate Challenge. Tony is an electrical engineer with a wealth of practical experience that is invaluable in helping us design efficient, effective projects.
