Adam Sheekey - CEO

  • Chief Executive Officer
Adam joined the business in July 2000 as Branch Manager of our London office and grew the branch by operating within the M&E and Construction sectors. Providing both blue and white collar personnel he has built and developed long term partnerships with clients and candidates alike. Adam joined the board of Dutton in May 2015 as Operations Director and played a key part in the strategic development of the company. Through hard work and endeavour, Adam took up the role of Chief Executive Officer in January 2017, and has overseen years of exponential growth.

Ashley Laming

Job Titles:
  • Regional Manager
Ashley is the Regional Manager for Nursing & Medical. He oversees our Sheffield, Rotherham, Leeds and Hull Nursing & Medical teams, ensuring their success and managing their development. He has over 7 years recruitment experience in this industry, more than 4 years management experience, and previous specialisms in Nursing.

Derrick Williams

Derrick is the Assistant Manager for Health and Social Care for the Yorkshire Region. Tasked with developing and expanding Dutton presence In the Health and Social Care Sector. Also supporting and developing staffing both internal and external. Previous to his time with Dutton Recruitment, Derrick spent 14 Years working in Child Protection, with 8 of those years spent in a managerial role.

Gareth Stevens

Gareth was made Branch Manager of our Cardiff branch after securing a contract with one of our biggest clients. He has been with Dutton Recruitment for over 9 years, and has a vast knowledge and experience recruiting specialist personnel for Engineering trades and management, plus technical roles across all disciplines of Engineering and Construction.

Ian McLean

Ian joined the company in July 1999 as an Engineering Resourcer, soon moving on to being one of the company's longest standing Engineering Consultants. Throughout his time at Dutton Recruitment, Ian has built up his reputation in the Engineering sector, working with some of the leading names in the industry. His current role as Engineering Manager sees him managing a team of consultants and resourcers specialising in supplying both temporary and permanent staff to industries such as: general manufacturing, heavy engineering, power generation, petrochemical, renewables, new builds and turnkey projects throughout the UK and internationally.

James Scott

Job Titles:
  • Branch Manager - Edinburgh
James Scott is based in our Edinburgh Office, and is the Edinburgh Branch Manager. James joined Now Dutton as part of the acquisition between Now Careers and Now Dutton in January 2019. James has only ever worked for one agency working his way through the ranks from Trainee Recruitment Consultant to Branch Manager over a 16-year period. During his career he has worked with many main and sub contract companies and grown relationships throughout the UK. In his current role he is responsible for the day to day running of the branch while overseeing a large temp desk and managing the business. He's also involved with clients and candidates and helps shape and grow the business.

Keely Hoff

Job Titles:
  • Group HR & Operations Manager
Keely first joined Dutton Recruitment in September 1997 as an Office Junior, supporting the consultants in our Sheffield office. Since then she has worked in several different roles within the company including Executive Assistant, Payroll Manager and Office Manager, whilst gaining a Diploma in Recruitment Practice. Keely has proven herself as an integral member of the Dutton Recruitment team. Keely played a fundamental role in overseeing the transition of the Head Office operation from Lancaster to Sheffield in early 2014, and has since passed a CIPD Level 5 qualification in Human Resources Management to become a qualified HR practitioner. As our HR & Compliance Manager, it is Keely's role to ensure our business remains at the forefront of any changes in legislation and practice. She is now studying towards her CIPD Level 7, looking to take her skills even further.

Keith Heppenstall - CFO

Having worked in finance for over 25 years, Keith is a highly-experienced Finance Director. He qualified with KPMG and looked after a diverse portfolio of clients before moving to industry where he has undertaken a number of senior finance roles with experience gained across a variety of sectors joining the recruitment industry in 2014. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. Keith joined us as Group Finance Director in 2019, becoming both central and crucial to our growth as a business and as a group.

Liz Waddington

Job Titles:
  • Payroll Supervisor
Liz is based in our Sheffield HQ and is the company Payroll Supervisor. She joined Dutton Recruitment in 2011 as an administrator, and has worked her way up by gaining a fantastic level of knowledge into the workings of our business, and the systems that are in place.

Matt Stephenson

Matt Stephenson started at Dutton almost 20 years ago, and has worked in recruitment for over 25 years. He joined the company in 1999 working in our Healthcare division and is now the lead sales consultant and branch manager for Dutton Nursing & Medical. During his time with Dutton Recruitment, Matt has also assisted his team in the Construction and Engineering sectors of the business.
