Ann has more than twenty years' experience in health and safety including as a programme manager, consultant, trainer, auditor and SafePlus Assessor. She has experience working alongside businesses as well as developing national programmes and publications for government agencies. Ann has experience in developing, implementing, reviewing and improving health and safety systems for businesses. She looks for practical solutions and clear ways of communicating to achieve health and safety improvements. Ann is also an enthusiastic coach and facilitator with extensive experience in developing and facilitating courses for managers and workers.

Jane Mccoll

Jane is a senior health and safety consultant with more than 20 years of experience in health and safety. She specialises in working with companies to develop, maintain and improve their health and safety systems. Jane's vision of making health and safety affordable for all was realised at the end of 2017 with the development of Avid Online; a one stop shop for affordable easy to use health and safety documents. Her nursing background helps her bring a supportive and empathetic approach with working with clients.

John McColl

John is a health and safety consultant who has previously worked in a range of industries including construction, demolition and roading. This gives him a realistic approach to health and safety, and he is currently studying for a Bachelor of Applied Management Majoring in Health and Safety.

Kate Sutcliffe

Kate has been a health and safety professional for over 16 years, working in the areas of consulting, auditing and enforcement. This experience means she is able to articulate complex information, so it is easily understood and applicable at an operational level. Kate has extensive knowledge and expertise in working with businesses in many sectors and of various sizes; successfully adapting her delivery to ensure individual business needs are met. Prior to joining Avid Plus, she was an Injury Prevention and Management Consultant with ACC, carrying out WSMP, WSD and ACC Fleet Saver Audits and a Health and Safety Inspector, carrying out accident investigations, pro-active inspections and enforcement actions.

Rachel Brazil Law

Avid Plus works in association with Rachel Brazil Law to bring solutions to your employment law and HR needs. Rachel Brazil has specialised in employment law for 13 years. She has spent this time primarily assisting businesses in all aspects of employment law. Rachel has extensive experience in all employment related matters and human resources. With over 13 years' specialising in these areas, Rachel has worked as a Senior Solicitor for the Otago Southland Employers' Association and also spent 4 years managing the Dunedin office of a law firm specialising in employment related issues. This includes supporting businesses with personal grievances, performance management and disciplinary matters. Rachel also has extensive experience in collective bargaining and appearing in the Employment Relations Authority. Rachel also has experience in payroll queries, parental leave issues, ACC, Health and Safety and the Holidays Act 2003 amongst other aspects that involve employing staff.

Rob McColl brings 20+ years of practical understanding of how an effective health and safety management system should operate and combines this with practical board experience. Rob is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors.

Robyn Bennett

Robyn is a HASANZ registered health and safety professional specialising in health and safety audits, systems, HSNO and practical hazard management. She believes understanding how health and safety links to operational activities is key to a workable health and safety system. Robyn brings both an academic and pragmatic approach to health and safety, helping employers to find realistic solutions to health and safety challenges.
