Basically Bush Limited was first established in July 1998 by directors/shareholders Sue & Steve Boot. Business activities revolve around possum harvesting (possum fur & skin procurement). In April 2008 Basically Bush Limited, changed its name to Wairata Holdings Limited and is now owned jointly by Sue & Steve Boot of Wairata Holdings Limited and Woolyarns Limited. The possum skin Tannery/Head Office is located in Woodville, Southern Hawkes Bay and is the operations base... Our work revolves around possum harvesting (possum fur & skin procurement), and the processing of possum skins at our Tannery in Woodville. The Tannery has the capacity to process over 200,000 pelts per year, we also have the ability to dye small volumes for niche markets "and bespoke products". Basically Bush pride itself for its high standard of professionalism, ethical conduct and honesty, and aim to provide a pleasant experience to all those who do business with us...
