Nick William Ranieri

Nick has been involved full time in resolving administrative law disputes since 1990. He has a special interest in North American Free Trade Association ("NAFTA") disputes and has served as counsel, consultant and adviser on numerous NAFTA cases. Nick was the Center Director and Professor of Law for five years, from 1995 to 2000, for ITESM. He continues to serve as an Arbitrator and Clerk on Canadian, American and Mexican trade cases. Nick has authored more than nine articles for international law and business journals dealing with dispute resolution processes in the NAFTA Context. Nicks law practice is now centered on resolving tax disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency, including, where necessary, representation at the Tax Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Appeal. He brings his considerable experience and expertise in negotiating dispute resolution at the international level to the practical realities of resolving local tax disputes without extensive recourse to expensive litigation. Nick describes his personal strength to be his ability to negotiate a settlement. He is a skilled listener and delights in finding a way to gain agreement.

Sacha Misir Qureshi

Sacha was admitted to the Bar of Ontario in 2020 and practices in corporate, estate and some tax matters. Sacha has been counsel to BRS Tax Lawyers since 2021 on various matters including but not limited to tax audits and appeals, incorporations, tax reorganizations, purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and general minute book upkeep. She also enjoys assisting her clients through the estate planning process by drafting Wills and Powers of Attorneys according to each person's unique wishes for the future. Sacha was born and raised in Toronto and is driven by helping the people around her and giving back to her community. She aims to ensure that all the people around her feel heard, supported, and empowered - especially her clients.
