COVE CAPITAL GROUP - Key Persons
Jacob joined Cove Capital Group in 2021. In addition to his role as a Financial Advisor on our team, Jacob manages Cove Capital's operations and internal organization. He completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Business Leadership from Saint John's University.
In addition to his educational merits, Jacob provides extensive entrepreneurship experience to our team. Having started his first company at the age of 16 and continuing to operate and grow successful companies beyond that, Jacob has developed a passion helping business owners of all kinds navigate the unique challenges of entrepreneurship. He currently lives in Mound MN with his wife Denise and their dog Miska. Outside of his time at RBC, Jacob enjoys producing musical performances, coaching snowboarding athletes, and exploring the unique cultures of the world. He has traveled to 26 countries across four continents and intends to see at least 100 in his lifetime.
Julie enjoys making people's lives easier. Each day as a registered client associate for RBC Wealth Management, she focuses on the details that make a difference for clients. A positive attitude and outgoing nature are central to Julie's 30 plus years of experience in the financial services industry. She pays close attention to the client's goals and the priorities of their lives.
Julie and her husband, Jamie, live in Hopkins. Outside of work, her top priority is spending time with family and friends. She enjoys yoga, biking, going on walks and trying new restaurants. She actively volunteers with Best Prep's eMentors, Habitat for Humanity, WeCAN, and many other organizations. Julie is the volunteer champion for our Minneapolis Complex, which means she updates and coordinates volunteer events with co-workers and associates in various branches.

Justin has more than 20 years of experience helping develop goal-oriented investment strategies for clients' current needs and future objectives. He also manages the team's investment committee. Justin earned a Bachelor of Arts in finance from Augsburg College and also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from The American College.
Justin and his wife, Alanna, live in North Branch along with their three children, Jack, Cohen and Addy. Outside of work, Justin coaches various sports teams that his children are involved in, including soccer. He also enjoys fishing and spending time at his family's cabin in the Brainerd lakes area.

Kristin brings more than 25 years of experience in financial services to her role, which is to help serve client account needs and manage the team's administrative and operational processes. Kristin earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Minnesota and has passed the Series 7, 63 and 65 exams. She and her husband, Paul, live in Minneapolis.

With more than 30 years of experience, Rick brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. Navigating a variety of market conditions has given him the skills needed to address an assortment of financial needs-skills that experience has honed and sharpened. While providing overall wealth management, Rick focuses on personal and business wealth management planning, including estate planning services and charitable giving.
Rick is a graduate of Cardinal Stritch University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. He and his wife, Kris, have lived in the Lake Minnetonka area for more than 20 years. They both are members of Wayzata Community Church and enjoy various hobbies including golf, skiing, boating, community theater and some travel.
