Anne Latendresse - CHRO

Anne is the Director of Human Resources and Casualty Division, responsible for planning, leading, developing and coordinating the human resource practices and policies for Colonial Adjustment. Additionally, she manages the operations of the casualty and auto divisions. Anne is a member of the leadership team contributing to the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of Colonial Adjustment. A graduate of the University of Maine, Anne is a multi-lines adjuster with experience in both property and casualty claims, including cases in litigation. She began her career in 2001 with a well-known insurance company before joining a large, regional self-insurer. Her background has provided her with a thorough knowledge of automobile, homeowner's, and general liability including Police and Public Officials liability. Anne is a licensed adjuster in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Anne makes it a priority to continue her professional development in human resource management, insurance claims adjusting and casualty claims management. She participates in courses and seminars to continue her education and expand her skills on an ongoing basis. Anne is a Maine native, and lives with her husband and two daughters in Winslow. Volunteering is important to her, and she serves on the Patient-Family Advisory Council at the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care where she can also be found playing piano for patients. Her two daughters are avid dancers, and she and her husband travel the country with them to dance conventions.

Karin Francoeur

Karin joined Colonial in 2007 as the Customer Service Manager, after 16 years handling both personal and commercial claims with a large independent agency in the northeast. As Office Manager, Karin manages and supervises the day-to-day activities of the Office Support staff. Additionally, she provides executive and administrative support to the CEO/President. Previously, Karin managed the Auto and Contents divisions of the business. She is a licensed Multi-Lines Adjuster in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, and is also a member of the National Association of Professional Women. Karin is a liaison between client companies, agents and adjusters ensuring Colonial's high standard of client service satisfaction is met. Her expertise in multiple product areas, and dedication to Colonial's customer service standards make her a key contributor on the Leadership Team where she participates in all aspects of company planning and as advisor to the CEO. She is busy mother of two daughter and lives in Durham, Maine. She and her husband enjoy family time at their camp in northern Maine, four wheeling, snowmobiling and other family activities.

Rebecca Nickerson

Rebecca Nickerson returned to Colonial in 2019 after six years as a Property Claim Supervisor with a regional insurance carrier. She previously joined Colonial in 2008 and was a valued member of the management team for almost five years. Rebecca is a self-described "coverage review junkie", has earned the AIS and AIC designations, and has 20 years' experience handling personal, commercial, and catastrophe property losses. She is well versed in management of property claims, handling litigated files, and all forms of coverage review and policy interpretation. Rebecca acts as gatekeeper to assist in the coordination of workloads and improve overall effectiveness of the Property Team, and as the liaison between the CEO and the Property Supervisors. Rebecca has worked as a property claim adjuster since 1999, first as a staff field adjuster for regional and national carriers, then in supervisory roles. She is well-versed in handling all levels of homeowners and commercial property losses and has completed advanced training courses in estimating and claims management. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine and is a past president of the Southern Maine Claims Association. Rebecca holds adjuster licenses in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Rebecca lives in Freeport and enjoys gardening, spending time with her daughter and three grandchildren, and discovering new local restaurants.

Sandra Fogg - CFO

Sandra joined Colonial in 2000, with a background in accounting, banking and management. She has served in several management and finance-accounting roles at the company, and manages the accounting operations and financial activities of Colonial Adjustment. Sandra is known for her ability to cover all the behind-the-scenes operations at Colonial. She makes client and vendor communication her top priority. Always hands-on, she most recently helped organize all aspects of Colonial's move to their new company headquarters in South Portland. As a member of the Leadership Team, she plays a key role in overall operations, and participates in the strategic planning process. Sandra grew up in Maine, and currently lives in Turner, Maine, enjoying a busy family life with her husband. A mom of three girls, her oldest daughter recently graduated from University of Vermont, her middle daughter is off to college at University of New Hampshire, her youngest daughter is still at home, and avid softball athlete. Sandra has recently rediscovered hiking throughout New England with her husband and two dogs in their free time.

Scott A. Kidder - CEO, President

Scott joined Colonial Adjustment in 1995 after graduating from the University of Denver with a BS in Business Administration. He decided to follow his father's footsteps, entering into the family business, with a determination to learn all aspects of insurance adjustment from the ground up. After obtaining his adjusters licenses in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, Scott handled a wide variety of claims, adjusting property losses and theft claims, attending mediations and settlement conferences, and investigating high profile liability cases. Scott took over as President in 2010, while his father John T. Kidder III was still CEO, to ensure a smooth transition for clients and employees. In 2014, he became CEO and President, managing all operations of the organization. He still remains hands-on with clients because he believes in accessibility, and the important role consistency and communication play in client relationships. Scott is passionate and eager to continue his father's legacy for his employees and his own family. Scott works with his management team to continue to foster superior service, and also be responsive in the market to the growing needs of clients. Scott is a member of the National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters and the National Claims Professionals. Scott continues his education by attending the Property Loss Research Bureau Claims conference, the Loss Executive Association meetings, Leadership Development programs, and numerous other seminars. He is a past president of the Southern Maine Claims Association and is very active in the National Association of Independent Adjusters. Scott lives in Windham Maine with his wife Erica. He has two boys attending currently attending college, one at University of Denver and one at Stonehill College. In his spare time he enjoys visiting his son in Colorado to go skiing, as well as following his other son's college baseball career. Scott also enjoys hunting and fishing with family and friends.
