COSMOCENTRAL GROUP - Key Persons
Anton founded Cosmopolitan Projects in 1992 and the Central Developments Property Group in 2002.
As Managing Director with a B.Com Marketing degree from the University of Pretoria, he provides strategic direction and ongoing hands-on management throughout the various business functions of the group.
Since 1999, Gerrit has had direct involvement in the marketing function for both Cosmopolitan Projects and Central Developments. In 2010, he was appointed Operational Director at Central Developments and is responsible for the operational management of Central Developments Midrand including its project management, marketing and administrative functions.
Godfrey practiced as an attorney for 12 years before he spent more than 10 years in the construction and mining industry. He is also a minister and theologian in the Baptist convention and a community activist.
Jaco studied B.Com Marketing and completed his B.Com Honours in Business Management and Management Accounting in 2005 when he joined Cosmopolitan Projects' Johannesburg division as a sales agent. In 2009 he spread his wings, gained more business experience, and rejoined the group in project marketing. From 2019 to 2021 Jaco was the Head of Project Management at Cosmopolitan Shared Services and at present, he is the Commercial Director at Central Development Project (CDP).
Johann holds a B.Comm Honours in Accountancy from the University of Pretoria. Prior to joining the team in 1996, he was an audit manager at Russel Wolpe Auditors and did his articles at Lloyd Viljoen Auditors. As director, Johann is responsible for the operational management of Cosmopolitan Projects Johannesburg including its marketing and administrative functions, liaising with banks and attorneys and specialising in people development.
As a director of Central Development Projects, Johannes holds a BSc in Building Science from the University of Pretoria. His experience dates back to 1992 at Stocks Housing and since joining the CDP team in 2005 he oversees construction and operational management.
Kgothatso started his career in corporate finance at Macquarie and Rothschild and prior to joining the Cosmopolitan Projects and Central Developments Property Group in January 2019, he spent five years at Old Mutual Alternative Investments as asset manager. He holds a B.Com degree in Finance, a B.Com (Hons) degree in Investment Management and is currently busy with his MSc in Property Studies through the University of Cape Town.
Pierre joined Cosmopolitan Projects in 1994. As director, he is responsible for the operational management of Cosmopolitan Projects Tshwane including its marketing and administrative functions.
Roland has a wealth of experience in various marketing and project management roles prior to joining Central Developments in 2003. In 2010, he was appointed Operational Director at Central Developments and is responsible for the operational management of Central Developments Montana including its project management, marketing and administrative functions.
Suzanne is responsible for the group's financial control and project finance. She joined the group in 2004 and was appointed director of Cosmopolitan Projects and Central Developments in 2010. She holds a B.Comm in Actuarial Sciences and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the University of Pretoria and previously held positions at Momentum Advisory Services and Van der Linde de Villiers Actuaries and Consultants.
Wouter holds a BSc in Building Science from the University of Pretoria and has more than 30 years' experience in the construction industry. He first joined the Cosmo Central Group in 1999 and as director, he is jointly responsible for the operational management of Central Development Projects.
