Cristina is Emergence's first Head of Content. After working in public affairs for the state government and governor of Massachusetts, Cristina realized her real passion lies in the private sector. She began her career in content at a seed-stage startup operating out of a tiny San Francisco apartment, and later helped build content from the ground up at Reflektive and Samsara.
With experience working for companies at the seed through IPO stages, Cristina is fascinated by everything it takes to build a successful, profitable company.
At Emergence, she partners with the investment and platform teams to build content that supports portfolio founders along their journeys to building iconic software companies. As software continues to power the world, Cristina is excited to develop and share the firm's SaaS thesis areas with the broader tech community.
Cristina holds a BS in Marketing Communications and minors in political and environmental science from Emerson College. She is an avid runner, cyclist, and skier, and most weekends you can find her on the steep trails of Marin County or the slushy slopes of north Lake Tahoe.
A seventeen year veteran of the venture capital industry, Dave is responsible for the firm's financial management and reporting, budgeting and treasury functions. Previously, Dave spent over 14 years at Foundation Capital driving their financial processes, most recently as their CFO. He started his career in 2001 at Mohr Davidow Ventures.
Dave's love for finance and accounting began at an early age, collecting and counting money from his local newspaper route in Milwaukee, WI and analyzing player statistics from his baseball card collection. He's a proud shareholder of the Green Bay Packers and while 20 years in California may have dulled his Midwest accent, it comes back easily on gamedays.
Dave holds a BS in Finance from Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business.
Doug lives and breathes all things sales and go to market. As a Growth Partner, his charter is to create a platform to share go-to-market insights and strategies that will help our portfolio companies scale, grow, and ultimately become the next billion dollar SaaS company.
Prior to Emergence, Doug spent 12+ years driving sales productivity & efficiency inside of the world's top technology companies such as Box, Salesforce, and Google. Before joining Emergence Doug held the coveted title as Chief Storyteller and VP of Sales Productivity & Enablement at Box, a provider of content collaboration software with 1,700 employees and an annual revenue run rate of $600 million. "As the Chief Storyteller, I was responsible for helping to change the way Box talked to, and about, their customers."
Doug brings a wealth of experience in driving sales efficiency and excellence through the use of data and customer insights to help transform the way sales organizations scale, develop and engage with prospects and customers. Building, and accelerating the growth of a sales organization, requires intention, execution, and the right people. Over the last 15 years, Doug's built a repeatable process and framework that is utilized in SaaS companies around the world.
Doug received his Bachelor's degree at the University of Oregon and when he's not cheering on his Ducks you can find him on the tennis courts, the soccer pitch, or in the cold Bay Area waters surfing big waves.

Everett joined Emergence in 2009 and brings to the firm over twenty years of experience in the venture capital industry. Everett was a general partner at St. Paul Venture Capital for ten years, where he led investments in healthcare informatics, consumer and business services, and information technologies.
Previously, he was the senior VP in charge of investment analysis at Security Pacific Capital, a venture capital and private equity firm managing over $1 billion in assets. He is also an angel investor and has co-invested with Emergence in Saleforce.com and MedeAnalytics. Everett has backed leading companies in several other sectors including Fargo Electronics (FRGO acquired by HID), Sentillion (acquired by Microsoft), Medicode (acquired by United HealthCare), Xilinx (XLNX), Staples (SPLS), and Pacific Sunwear (PSUN).
Everett has an MS and BS in mechanical engineering and thermodynamics from Stanford and an MBA from the University of Southern California. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Los Altos Hills where he enjoys running and cycling.

From starting from scratch with her family as a political refugee to graduating from Harvard Business School, Julie believes that with focus, hard work, and a strong community, anything is possible.
Julie Bell is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Emergence Capital, bringing over two decades of experience in operating businesses and developing high-performing cultures.
Julie is passionate about building teams and systems designed to help everyone realize their full potential. As a key member of the leadership team at Emergence, Julie Bell works closely with the General Partners to drive firm scalable and sustainable growth. She is responsible for managing fund strategy and talent, as well as supporting the firm's Platform Team and portfolio companies.
Julie launched her career at Bain and Company 24 years ago, where she first learned how to grow and scale businesses as a strategic consultant. Most recently, she served as Bain Bay Area's EVP of People and Operations, a role she held for the last four years. In between her two stints at Bain, Julie has held various executive positions. She previously was the CEO of Luxury Link, an online luxury travel and marketing company, and CFO at Tea Collection, a globally-inspired children's clothing company. Julie has also held investment roles at JH Partners as an investor and San Francisco Equity Partners as a Partner focused on consumer and retail businesses.
Julie's passion for technology and entrepreneurship is personal. Her father was an early computer science pioneer and immigrated with three-year-old Julie and their family from Tashkent, Uzbekistan (former USSR) to Silicon Valley. Growing up in an immigrant household ingrained in her an unshakeable work ethic and belief in creating opportunities for others.
An ardent supporter of women's causes and championing DEI initiatives, she is a frequent speaker at her alma mater UC Berkeley and is actively involved in supporting the Jewish Community Center in the East Bay.
Julie graduated from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business with a B.S. in General Management and Harvard Business School with an MBA in Business. She lives in Piedmont, CA with her husband, two children, and new Havanese puppy Javier. In her free time, she loves to cook regional dishes from all over the world, travel, and spend time with her loved ones.

Growing up in a family of all kinds of engineers, Sneha constantly thrives on learning about how things work and how people build iconic solutions. Sneha is never shy about uncovering what makes ideas bold and unique.
Sneha's passion for enterprise software began when working in Business Development at Microsoft, prior to joining Emergence. At Microsoft, Sneha worked with senior engineering leaders to define strategy for partnerships & acquisitions, and to incubate new security, compliance & identity products - including the launch of the company's first enterprise privacy suite.
Immersed in the broader ecosystem of customers, partners and founders, Sneha got the opportunity to learn business building from some of the most customer-empathetic product leaders in the cybersecurity industry. Her calling to venture is inspired by how fulfilling being a trusted advisor is.
Sneha studied Finance, Operations & Strategic Management at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated magna cum laude and minored in South Asia Studies.
