I joined the team in November 2022 as a Dental assistant. With a background of hospitality and tourism I have gained transferable skills where I can think on my feet and multi-task. With opportunities to learn every day, I like being a part of our patients smile journey.
I love making cafe style coffees at home. I'm a online shopaholic! I also enjoy gardening and my indoor plants

Ngahina Graduated from Otago University with credit in 2010. Ngahina has spent the past 11 years working locally - the last 6 years as a principal dentist elsewhere, she has taken a step back to focus on her family and furthering her dental education.
Aside from being able to provide a positive impact on people's quality of life, she loves being able to put her patients at ease and build good long-term relationships. Ngahina practices all aspects of general dentistry to a high standard including extractions, crowns, fillings, veneers, and implants.
Dr Ngahina finds learning new skill's exciting - it is really motivating to be able to continuously learn, improve and expand the treatment and services that she can provide her patients.
When not in the dental surgery Ngahina can be found enjoying family time with her husband and two children. Ngahina enjoys HIIT at F45, horse riding, landscaping, and looking after animals on their lifestyle block.
Julie graduated from Otago University in 1991.
Julie has practiced both in the UK and several places across New Zealand, finally settling in the Wairarapa.
Julie has always enjoyed providing quality long term dentistry, with an emphasis on building good relationships with her patients. She is skilled in all aspects of dentistry, including root fillings, crowns, bridges and loves to create beautiful smiles. Outside of work Julie cross trains, cooks, read's watches movies and enjoys the odd wine.
Dr Lallit Rajpal had worked at his practice in Tawa and the surrounding regions for over 30 years.
He also worked for New Zealand Corrections between 2002-2009 serving Wellington and Christchurch Prisons. He also had keen interests in the Corporate model of Dental Practices, having been involved in ownership of several Practices in 1996-2003.
Dr Rajpal offered traditional values in good management, and incorporated the best in modern technologies by using the latest in dental techniques, equipment and materials. He valued his staff who are in his words, like family.
His other keen interests are in the field of Sports consultancy, having assisted prominent and promising athletes in their commercial opportunities, introducing the AC Milan and Juventus Youth Football clinics in 2015 to 2018 and involved with College Cricket.
Michelle comes to Greytown Dental having completed her Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) degree in University College Cork, Ireland in 2013. Following this, Michelle moved to the UK where she gained invaluable experience.
Michelle has been practicing in New Zealand since 2017. While Michelle enjoys all aspects of dentistry, she has a special interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry to create beautiful smiles, while also emphasising the importance of preventative dental care. She enjoys learning and keeping up to date with dental education and developments so that she can provide the best care for her patients.
Michelle strives to provide quality and comprehensive treatment to all her patients and wants to give her patients the time they need to understand their treatment plan and to feel at ease.
Outside of work Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking and baking, hiking and travelling.
Kathleen has a heart for people. She believes that if you could take just one step, you are well ahead in overcoming your fear of dentistry. It is not about having perfect teeth and gums in one visit, but a journey where your comfort is valued more than getting it all right at once.

I have been in the Dental industry for 10 years now doing both Dental Assisting and Administration. I love all aspects of the industry however Oral surgery and meeting new patient's, are by far my favourite two areas. I am extremely social and love spending time with different people, hearing their story.
I am a certified Makeup artist who still loves the beauty industry however it is more of a hobby now.
I am married to Dan Hansen and we have two boys Ezra and Eli. We're quite an active family who enjoy the outdoors, anything from gardening to bush walks to bike rides. Our boys definitely keep my husband and I busy.
Lorraine has come to Greytown Dental with 16 years' experience and has assisted for Dr Ngahina for the past 12 years.
Lorraine loves to help people and see them walk out with a beautiful smile.
Lorraine's interests outside of work are reading, sports and catching up with friends & family.

Nikki is the friendly, welcoming face at Greytown Dental and keeps the practice in check. With a strong background in administration she has the daily processes and systems sorted. Nikki has a love of people from all backgrounds and cultures and is actively involved in her local church and community - attributes Greytown Dental greatly values. Outside of the office, you may see her heading to Farmers for the latest Red Dot Sale, attending cross-fit several times a week, or spending time with her talented husband recording original music.

It has always been a desire of mine to work in the field of dentistry and being a part of the Greytown Dental team is such a privilege. I put effort into all that I do in life and take great pride in working alongside others.
I moved to New Zealand in 2008 from the Philippines to be with my husband Craig. We are blessed with two beautiful daughters Bonnie and Stella.
We are enjoying our time in Greytown and love being part of the community and all it has to offer.
Sunday is a special day for my family and a central part of this is our faith and the church.
Susi is originally from northern Germany and arrived in the Wairarapa seven years ago after spending some years in London, Edinburgh and on the Kapiti Coast.
Susi is new to Greytown Dental and the dental industry itself but is looking forward to observing and learning from the great team at the practice.
Susi's last role as an Accounts Receivable Officer was more administration focussed but now, she is back to her passion of making people and patients feel welcome as she did when she worked at the Front Desk for busy hotels in the UK.
