Alan Jessup

Alan Jessup, a Sydney-based partner in the corporate and commercial division, deals with most issues for The Huntley Group. Alan has a Master of Law and a Master of Taxation from Sydney University, and is also an accredited mediator. Alan has significant experience in the establishment of managed investment schemes and products, and in managing the major reconstructions of publicly listed companies. Alan's experience, assistance and advice, in particular in dealing with the ATO and ASIC, is invaluable and represents an advantage for The Huntley Group and its clients.

Bill Foxall

Prior to embarking on his corporate career, Bill was a senior officer in the Australian Army. Since leaving the Army, he has held a number of senior management positions in the managed investments industry. Bill has a degree in management and strategic studies.

Brett Schofield

Brett has been a real estate professional for 39 years. During this time, he has accumulated a wide range of experience in the development and funds management sectors, working for private interests and institutions. This experience has provided an insight into the requirements for successful customer and investor management through joint venture and managed investment platforms. Areas of expertise include sourcing equity, undertaking due diligence, investment/development evaluation, board and investor presentations, funds establishment, finance origination, capital transactions and development management.

Brian Silvia - Chairman

Brian is a chartered accountant and principal of Ferrier Silvia Pty Ltd. He is a registered and official liquidator and a registered trustee in bankruptcy with over 40 years' insolvency experience. As a founding principal of Ferrier Silvia, Brian has worked throughout Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, Europe and the Cayman Islands. He has undertaken engagements in the property, primary industry, financial services, logistics, manufacturing, mining, retail, tourism and hospitality sectors. Brian's vision and passion is highly regarded in the industry due to his drive to uncover and successfully manage all details and processes involving construction, contractual obligations, accounting, sales and valuation methods in a timely manner. Brian is regularly engaged as an expert witness and is considered the ‘industry speaker' on managing distressed or insolvent property construction projects. Brian has developed the rare ability to coordinate and effectively manage all issues confronting an imposing list of stakeholders including councils, state governments, the EPA, unions, financiers, subcontractors, developers, owners and clubs and associations

Cherilyn Cas-Lledo

Cherilyn is responsible for our administration and compliance requirements related to projects. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the Central Queensland University.

John Knox - Managing Director

John is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia & New Zealand. He practised for twenty years, specialising in the areas of business development, management and tax consultancy. Following the sale of his practice in 1978 John ventured into commerce. He established and took equity interests in companies in construction and property development as well as medical and pharmaceutical fields. In 1983 John moved to England and subsequently was appointed as managing director of a specialist advertising group that was suffering financial problems. Following a successful restructure and restoration to profitability he moved to new assignments in Gibraltar and Spain. Upon returning to Australia in the mid-90s John undertook a number of management consultancies while looking to acquire a business. In 2002 he established The Huntley Group which holds an Australian Financial Services Licence and acts as responsible entity, custodian, and trustee and/or manager for over forty managed investment schemes registered by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and regulated by the Corporation Act 2001. John continues as managing director of The Huntley Group.

Malcolm Cleland

Malcolm is the managing director of Cleland Management Pty Ltd and the Victorian representative for The Huntley Group. He has wide and varied experience in consultancy and the management of agricultural ventures including forestry, vineyards and horticultural projects.

Piper Alderman

Piper Alderman, The Huntley Group's lawyers, are a leading advisor for commercial interests. A national firm, they have offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth.

Stephen Law

Stephen holds a Diploma of Law and has been admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales. He has had over 40 years' experience as a company secretary and corporate counsel specialising in corporate and administrative management of small to medium-sized listed public companies. He has also been widely involved in the development of managed investment schemes and the preparation of prospectuses for public offerings.

Therese Melville
