We are dog-friendly and offer two ground floor rooms with en-suite bathroom facilities; in early 2021, unable to guarantee social distancing, we closed our upstairs single room to guests - this is now kept as accommodation for family and friends only. Both of our ground floor rooms are bookable for dogs staying with their owners at no extra cost, and we do ask that you notify us at time of booking that you are bringing a dog. Please note that dogs are not permitted to be left unattended in the rooms under any circumstances. We have a dog of our own, a German Shepherd/Greyhound cross called Lexi who is not at all sociable with other dogs and needs to be kept apart from them. She is big, excitable and very strong, and will bark the house down. Despite this caveat, she is friendly towards humans and will not harm you, but she frightens most other dogs and for this reason we keep her apart.
