JPCL

(JPCL) was incorporated in August 1998, under companies ordinance 1984 and started it's business as a Govt. of Pakistan. WAPDA owned entity from 1st March, 1999... Jamshoro Power Generation Company Limited. Jamshoro Power Plant is situated on the right bank of River Indus near Khanot, in District Jamshoro, about 60 Km from Hyderabad and 217 Km from Karachi city. Jamshoro Power Plant is the only coal fired power plant in Pakistan.
