KYD NETWORK

My name is Genesis Griffin, I was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I am a 21 year old student attending WMU, majoring in Family Science and Human Development with a track in Youth and Community Development. My current education path continues to drive my work here at KYD Network as the Youth Leadership Coordinator as I get to engage in the continuous improvements to the systems in our OST Sector. My favorite things to do include playing basketball, watching reality tv and spending time with my fur baby, Kobe. My greatest aspirations in life are to serve many youth and families around me, and create a lasting impact on our community, and truly live into being the domino... KYD Network begins as a collaborative effort among the city of Kalamazoo, the Irving S. Gilmore Foundation, and the Hispanic American Council to provide networking opportunities for youth-serving organizations... KYD Network serves as the intermediary organization for Kalamazoo County's Out-of-School Time..
