Ako Eyong has been an artist for as long as he can remember. He has produced a body of work, from portraits to murals, and landscapes or abstracts that runs into the thousands.
He has been deploying art as therapy for more than eight years, and his work is ongoing in respected facilities within the Malibu, Agoura, Calabasas and Beverly hills areas. He has guest lectured in universities and colleges around the country, including Ventura college, Oxnard college, Coconino college, Klamath college, to name a few.
He has also worked as the in house political cartoonist for some of Cameroons, biggest english newspapers, resulting to events that led to a life in the United states as a political exile.
Ako holds a Bachelors degree in history, an RADT, and he is presently working on a CADC II.
He is an award winning and twice nominated historical fiction author. He is fluent in English, French, and a few other African languages. His Spanish is acceptable..
He paints and he writes everyday.

Dusty began working at LifeSync in early 2020. With no prior experience working in treatment it was a big career change, but from the minute he put his badge on it was obvious that he fit right into the role of a technician. Dusty is compassionate, patient and motivated to help clients achieve their goals in recovery work. Dusty always shows up with a smile and a kind word. His sunny disposition and ability to connect with people is what makes him an asset to our team.

Geoffrey A. Booth, M.D. is one of the most sought after addiction medicine physicians in Malibu and the Los Angeles area. He has extensive experience in providing expert medical detoxification for the most complex clients. After earning his B.A. in psychology at California State University, Los Angeles, Dr. Booth attended New York Medical College. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA Olive View Medical Center and is Board-Certified in Addiction Medicine and Internal Medicine. After residency, Dr. Booth went into private practice where he garnered a statewide and nationwide referral base for patients who suffered from difficult-to-treat diagnoses.
Dr. Booth subsequently dedicated several years to providing medical services to the poor and uninsured. During this time, Dr. Booth was the Chief Medical Officer of three large urban Federally Qualified Health Centers and oversaw dozens of physicians and licensed health care providers. His responsibilities included supervising alcohol and drug and behavioral health departments. Over the years, Dr. Booth has treated thousands of addicts and now has dedicated most of his clinical time to providing medical care and detoxification to clients who suffer from substance abuse. He is committed to helping them establish the foundations for long-term sobriety.

While not working, Dr. Booth has a rich personal life filled with activities surrounded by friends and family. You can often catch him running through Palisades Park or cycling along the bike path through Santa Monica. He loves his family and spends a lot of time with his son playing games and teaching him sports.
Matt Bradford quit playing piano in the fourth grade because he wanted to play guitar. At 16, he bought himself a guitar; playing it became his life's passion. After high school, Matt attended the Musician's Institute in Los Angeles. He has worked in studios and been a studio musician for major label artists with Sony and Universal. He toured nationally with artists like Grizfolk and Sam Morrow. His last band, Adorable Addicts, broke up in 2010. That's when he hit the road as a singer/songwriter in support of his four solo albums. He was on the road until late 2018, when he realized that touring was no longer the dream. A friend suggested Rock to Recovery.
Though he had tried to get sober on his own, Matt was unable to stay clean until he went to a 12-step meeting. After two years of self-will, he heard in the meeting that he had a problem. Finally, he had the missing piece. He hasn't taken a drink or drug since that day in 2013. Matt now loves his work because he gets to play music without taking himself too seriously. He also enjoys watching people who are struggling, open up and embrace their recovery. The feeling of connection he has in those moments is what the work is all about.

Steven earned his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara in economics. Like many others, Steven has seen firsthand the destruction addiction inflicts on friends and family. He also knows the amazing changes that can be made when those suffering from addiction receive the treatment they need. As a result, Steven co-founded one of Malibu's most successful treatment centers. He has ten years of experience in running and operating residential treatment centers. Moreover, he brings a unique skill set with him. He has tremendous compassion, understanding and empathy for those in recovery and those needing help. Always one to take time to listen, he presents clear and succinct advice and help to the clients. Steve has an extremely strong work ethic and knows how to help.
While not at the office, Steve enjoys a rich personal life with his beautiful wife and children. He enjoys sports and staying active at the gym in addition to having a large and eclectic collection of music.

Taylor began working in treatment a number of years ago when his personal journey led him into the field of addiction. Taylor prides himself on top notch client care and his person centered communication style allows him to meet the clients where they are at to provide excellent service. Taylor's intuitive and curious nature allows him to build rapport with clients to help them see that there is hope and that they can be successful in their own recovery. Taylor is continuing his clinical education and plans to continue his professional growth in the treatment industry.
