Mark has practiced law in Coeur d'Alene since 1983, and his office is located one block from the Kootenai County Courthouse. After growing up and graduating from high school in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Mark attended college on a tennis scholarship and graduated from Boise State University in 1980. Mark received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho School of Law in 1983. For 12 years Mark taught business law and criminal law at the NIC campus. From approximately 1995 to 2007 Mark was a board member on the Coeur d'Alene Public Library Foundation, which built the library.
