The Midwestern Public Health Training Center (MPHTC) is one of ten regional public health training centers funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Midwestern Public Health Training Center, covering the four-state region of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska, helps to improve public health by strengthening the technical, scientific, managerial, and leadership competencies of the public health workforce... The vision of the Midwestern Public Health Training Center (Region 7) is a public health workforce that is supported by the multitude of resources that we can provide... The Regional Steering Committee includes MPHTC's academic and practice partners across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. This group helps guide our work and keeps us informed about workforce development needs in our region.
