NETWORKS OF SUPPORT

In response to a cluster of suicides by teenagers, with three at Rapid City Central High School in the 2007/2008 school year, the Networks of Support approach was developed as a comprehensive prevention model. In the 30 months prior to March 2008, 14 teenage people died by suicide in Pennington County. Between September of 2007 and September of 2011, our school endured 28 deaths... Networks of Support is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to providing vital prevention and youth leadership development programming to schools and communities.
