After finishing the Technical High School in Zielona Gora, Poland, with the specialization in general electronics, I begun my studies in mathematics at the University of Zielona Gora. After two and a half years of studies in Poland, I moved on to the Netherlands to continue the studies in the Risk and Environmental Modelling programme offered by the Delft University of Technology. I graduated in 2003 both at the Delft University of Technology and the University of Zielona Gora.
