PANSHANGER

Panshanger is a happy school. Pupils are polite . They are taught to value and respect each other ... Our school is built on land that was originally part of the Panshanger House estate owned by Lord Desborough of the Cowper family. It was the first school built on the estate. Whilst building the school, the grave of an Iron Age chieftain was unearthed, dating from between 25 and 10 BC. Artefacts from the grave, including an Italian silver cup, are now on display in the British Museum... The PTA is a charity organisation with a mission to make the school a better place for children to learn. Panshanger Primary School PTA brings together parents, teachers, and children to raise funds and strengthen the school community. Money raised is usually spent on things that the school budget does not cover, like the school pool or new playground equipment. Sometimes it is also used for activities than enhance the experiences children have at school such as school outings.
