PATIOS FOR PATRIOTS

It started as an idea of Jason Geiser. His idea at the time was simple: to give patios to veterans. Having spent years in the concrete industry, first as a contractor for residential decorative concrete outdoor living areas and then as the owner and operator of a decorative concrete supply company, Jason witnessed firsthand the enjoyment that well-done outdoor living areas gave to people. He shared the idea with his longtime friend, Todd Hershberger. Todd, a banker, only had basic knowledge of the concrete industry - all obtained through his friendship with Jason, but he was an accountant and understood non-profits. Together the two began to talk about how an idea of giving patios to veterans could turn into something real. They had family and friends that had served in various branches of the military at different times in their lives and they had observed the toll military service can often times take on men and women and their families.
