Wegi Gigs started as an idea between friends to create a website that was committed to providing Concise, accurate and relevent information for gigs in glasgow, particularily those of a Rock, Punk, metal and industrial style. we also decides that this should be created to assist in the additional recognition and promotion of bands who take support slots at gigs only for their name to never be mentioned. Every month, we will endevour to research & provide as much information as we can about all the gigs across glasgow itself that we feel are relevant to our style and also attempt to supply the names & information for as many bands that will be paying as possible. (initially this will be the bigger, more promoted, venues but we will be researching bars and smaller venues that put on gigs so we can provide as wide a scope as possible for bands who fit our style... We are starting with all the major venues in Glasgow and we will add others over time if they establish themselves as regular..
