Major upgrades to our cannery between 2005 and 2013 paved the way for our factory to become the first food processing factory in South Africa to achieve HACCP accreditation and ISO 22000 certification. Our products also adhere to strict NRCS standards and are independently evaluated per batch before being released... From our humble beginnings in Saldanha Bay more than a century ago to becoming a heavy-weight in the canned food industry, our family and community values have always remained at the core of how we do business... For more than 110 years, Saldanha has provided South African families with delicious products that offer great value and essential nutrients. Our products are conveniently packaged and ready to eat, but can also be used to create a variety of tasty recipes.
