SAGE COUNSELING

Sara M. Sage, MS, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor in private practice. I believe deeply in respecting each person's journey and unique path. In each relationship with a client, I emphasize wholeness of mind, body and spirit. Many clients bring concerns about depression, anxiety, grief, a significant life transition, identity and spiritual issues, or relationship issues and can benefit from talking with someone with clear thinking, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to their unique needs and style. My background as a teacher and teacher educator for 30 years helps me work effectively and empathically with teachers, parents, teens, or those with school- and learning-related concerns. I work with clients of all sexual orientations and gender identities, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer or questioning (LGBTQ) clients, and am knowledgeable and affirming about sexual orientation, gender identity, local resources, and transitioning...
