Silikon Technologies began operations in 2014 after sister company, Polymer Conversions, recognized that its current customer base was expressing a need for silicone parts in addition to the thermoplastic products they were already receiving. Polymer, who has a 35+ year track record in the medical injection molding industry supplying precision products to some of the top medical product companies in the world, already had the means; they just needed the space & equipment. The goal was simple; disrupt the Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) market in the same fashion that the Polymer team had already accomplished in the medical injection molding industry. In a short period of time, SILIKON has done just that with the support of the sister company and goals of the Bertsch family.
