SSL was established in 2004 as Switchgear Solutions Ltd.: a small manufacturers' representative of switchgear & transformers. From 2009-2015, SSL evolved its business model by adding engineering & testing services, retrofit applications, power system studies, and high voltage substations to grow to a company of 18 people in 3 offices across the US Mid Atlantic territory (adding Substation Solutions Ltd. as an additional business name). In 2016, SSL downsized its operations to focus on design/build projects and engineered solutions in lieu of traditional "bid & spec" work. We now know who we are…... SSL specializes in the design, application, sales, and support of electrical equipment for the industrial, commercial, & renewable markets. We have the knowledge, relationships, and resources to drive power distribution and motor control projects from inception to completion.
