Cynthia Cavanagh is a Paralegal at Sultan Lawyers. Cynthia secured her Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies from the University of Waterloo and further completed the Paralegal Graduate Certificate program at Durham College. Prior to joining the team at Sultan Lawyers, Cynthia volunteered at the Access to Justice HUB - Legal Clinic and assisted in offering legal services to individuals of low-income. Cynthia is organized, dedicated to help others, and has a passion for law. She is relentless to provide clients with compassionate, outstanding service, and to support the associates at Sultan Lawyers with employment law including wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, workplace harassment, discrimination, human rights claims, employment contracts as well as economic-immigration related matters specifically work permits, Labour Market Impact Assessments and accompanying family applications. When out of the office, Cynthia spends time enjoying the outdoors, travelling, spending time with family and friends and trying various local restaurants and coffee shops. Kayleigh Hayward

Kayleigh is an Executive Assistant and Account Manager at Sultan Lawyers. Kayleigh emigrated to Canada in 2019 from the United Kingdom. Kayleigh provides support to the entire team on a day-to-day basis, with any administrative requirements. With over a decade of experience in administrative roles, Kayleigh has a wealth of client facing experience, which helps her deliver exceptional service to our clients. She is extremely organized and enjoys working in a legal environment for the first time. Furthermore, after going through Canadian immigration processes, herself, Kayleigh hopes to help clients with immigration related queries. In her spare time, Kayleigh enjoys socializing, and travelling, having visited 29 countries, thus far. Majella Lahert

Majella Lahert is the Firm Manager at Sultan Lawyers. Majella graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Honours) degree from Cork, Ireland. Majella possesses a high level of knowledge in business administration and strategic planning, which she skillfully applies to ensure the smooth operations of the firm. Having relocated to Toronto to pursue an international career, Majella soon after became a permanent resident and subsequently Canadian Citizenship. Majella is a passionate leader with a blended business and administrative background making her an excellent manager for the smooth running of our office. Throughout her years at the firm, Majella's strategic planning and organizational skills have played a pivotal role in streamlining office operations through the implementation of new processes and procedures. With several years of experience working with employment and workplace immigration professionals, Majella has gained valuable knowledge in assisting clients, serving as one of our clients' primary points of contact. She is committed to providing reliable and efficient service, always demonstrating a sense of urgency while ensuring that clients' needs are exceeded. Outside of work, her favorite pastime is running with her local run club. Megan Campbell

Megan Campbell is an associate at Sultan Lawyers. Megan represents both employers and employees, providing strategic advice and practical solutions for clients. She advises in all areas of employment law including *employment contract and policies, discipline and termination, human rights, harassment and discrimination, workplace accommodations, workplace investigations and occupational health and safety. Megan received her Juris Doctor at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law. During her time there she led a research group with the National Self Represented Litigant's Project. She articled at an international full-service firm in downtown Toronto where she gained experience in employment, labour, litigation, and corporate law. Prior to law school, Megan received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama and English from Queen's University. She was the recipient of several awards and prizes for academic excellence and public speaking. Megan worked for several years in the entertainment field before turning her focus to law. Megan is a creative individual who is passionate about advocacy.

After completing her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Western Ontario and a Paralegal Graduate Certificate from Centennial College, she launched her career in the legal field by beginning in immigration. Her immigration experience ranges from temporary to permanent residence, along with preparing application packages, and supporting clients throughout the process. Megan is passionate about advocating for newcomers to Canada and making an impact in various employment law matters.

Sharaf Sultan

Sharaf Sultan focuses his practice on both employment and workplace immigration law. Sharaf has extensive experience in all aspects of employment law, including wrongful dismissal, design of policies and procedures, as well as workplace human rights matters. Sharaf advises both large and small employers on a wide range of workplace employment matters, including hiring and termination, performance management, drafting of workplace employment policies, restrictive covenants, and employment contracts. Sharaf also regularly manages employment litigation and human rights applications. Sharaf further advises employers on a wide range of immigration matters for companies involved in the relocation or hiring of foreigners into the Canadian labour market. He has extensive experience preparing and providing advice with respect to Business Visitor visa applications, intra-company transfers, and Labour Market Impact Assessment applications. Sharaf's clients include large American and multinational corporations. Sharaf regularly writes and speaks on both employment and workplace immigration matters. Being both employment and immigration lawyer, he also taught at the university level and continues as an adjunct professor on advocacy, employment and immigration law. Prior to founding Sultan Lawyers, Sharaf was a lawyer within Heenan Blaikie LLP's labour and employment group.
