Anita is the Laboratory Manager with a great passion for Biochemistry and fixing the machines in the Laboratory. She has over 12 years of experience in some of the biggest hospitals in Mainland Tanzania.
Anita Sain is originally from India who came with parents when she was just a child. She and her team of 10 staff handle the whole laboratory, this is including 4 radiologist who work 24 hours on a rotation of 3 shifts for lab and 2 shifts for radiology.
Anita has over 12+ years' experience since graduating from IMTU in 2009. She has worked in the renowned hospitals in Dar-es-salaam like TMJ Hospital, Muhimbili Hospital and Tiba Health Care in Upanga. She has been working with Tasakhtaa for over 2 years now and is responsible for not just managing the laboratory but also coordinating the lab test plus radiology test results.
Dr Alexander is a Qualified Medical Practitioner with a Medical Degree and a member of Tanganyika and Zanzibar Medical Councils, Tanzania Surgical Associations, Tanzania Gastroenterologist and Endoscopy Society.
Dr Benson is a Physician in the Clinical Department of Internal Medicine. He specialises in Nephrology communicative diseases.
Dr. Gulshan Khimji is a highly qualified and experienced Emergency Physician with a diverse skill set and a passion for providing immediate medical care in urgent situations. With an unwavering dedication to patient well-being, Dr. Khimji has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and expertise in handling a wide range of medical emergencies.
With a strong background in emergency medicine, Dr. Khimji possesses the ability to effectively manage and treat critical cases, including trauma, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress, and neurological crises. Through years of practice and exposure to various emergency scenarios, Dr. Khimji has developed exceptional surgical skills and is always prepared to handle complex procedures whenever necessary.
Dr Jagga Rao Konathala is a highly qualified and practical experienced Dentist . He overseas the Dental Clinic in Stone Town at Tasakhtaa Hospital. Dr Jagga is always prepared for all type of surgeries and emergency dental cases.
Dr Jagga is a Dentist from India, he works with 2 dental assistants in the Orthodontics 2-chair clinic at Tasakhtaa Hospital.

Dr Juma is a leading Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who is highly qualified in solving infertility problems on the island. With his diversity of skills and special interests, he is always prepared for all types of challenges.
Dr Juma Abdallah is an Obstetrician and gynaecologist for over 5 years now as a Specialist Doctor. Having studied at Muhimbili University, he has over 12 years of experience as a General Practioner also. He has helped several women with infertility problems and is the BEST on the island!
Dr Nelda is from Cuba and is very passionate about Internal Medicine and enjoys most Emergency ICU and Intensive Care patients. Dr Nelda also enjoys teaching and training her fellow staff members with the knowledge she has gained in the years of experience in this field. She sees alot of critical patients who have a lot of combinations of complicated diseases which is takes as a challenge to treat and see them leave the hospital healthy. This gives her great pride.
Dr Sayed Mohamad Shahnaaz Akhtar is the Consultant Paediatrician and Head of the Paediatric Department at Tasakhtaa Hospital. Originally from India Sayed has studied and worked for 8 years in China, at the now famous Wuhan University. He has also had many years of experience in India, the Maldives where he was Head of Department in Uganda's UMC in Victoria.
Dr Syed Mohamed Shahnawaz is a highly qualified and practical experienced Paediatrics specialist with a diversity of skills and special interests. Always prepared for all type of surgeries and emergencies cases.
