David Morley

Job Titles:
  • Site Foreman / Senior Carpenter
David has been with Technique Construction Group since 2013. He completed his apprenticeship in carpentry and has grown into a senior position with the company. He appreciates the finer details of projects and is immensely proud of the work he and his team deliver. Like all team members at Technique, David really enjoys seeing our apprentices develop the skills to become great carpenters.

Elizabeth Rooney

Job Titles:
  • Operations Manager
Elizabeth started with Technique Construction Group in 1998, commencing as Office Manager. This role has grown with the business into being Operations Manager, involved in whole company administration, together with training and development of all staff. Elizabeth has an MBA from Deakin University, and her background has come from years of experience in the corporate sector in procurement, operations, and client management. She has implemented many business management operations from the corporate world into Technique Construction Group. By applying these operations Technique Construction Group has been able to develop into a professional construction company that understands the requirements of the niche market we work within.

Scott Davies

Job Titles:
  • Director
Scott started his career as an apprentice carpenter in 1987. Scott's passion and appreciation for architecturally designed construction grew after completing his apprenticeship, he knew then that he wanted to have a company that brought these bespoke projects to life. Scott started SD Davies Builders in 1991 and after growing and employing 4 teams of carpenters and apprentice's, Technique Construction Group was formed and has grown and developed into a professional in the construction Industry. Scott understands the importance of education and development if you wish to stay relevant within an ever-changing industry. He has completed and gained accreditations in passive building, OH&S safety guidelines, contract and business management training, software integration and training into the building team and above all training of the future generations of trades. He transitioned after spending 18 years being onsite and hands on, into the fulltime role of director and project manager. With over 30 years of experience, he now loves to engage with the architects and clients to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget. He is also a passionate committee member with the HIA's Membership and Training team.

Scott Gardiner

Scott started his apprenticeship with Technique Construction Group in 2006 and has learnt many skills on his journey. He has a passion for leadership and an incredible attention for detail. He treats all the projects we are involved in constructing as if it was his own project. He now enjoys sharing his extensive knowledge and developing the new generation of trades coming through Technique Construction Group.
