AIRE - Key Persons

Underwood Aire Products is the brainchild of Doug Underwood of Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Born into a multi-office family-owned manufacturers representative, wholesale distribution, and manufacturing organization, his exposure to these products started at a rather young age. When building fans, blowers, roof curbs, and VAV terminal units in an air-conditioned shop was presented as an alternative to mowing grass under the hot Georgia sun, it was not a difficult decision. Later after graduating from The Georgia Institute of Technology in the late 1980's Doug joined full time the family business which at its peak was to include seven offices spread across five states of the Southern US and spanning four generations of Underwoods.
