David Lai - Founder

David Lai is an experienced corporate planning and derivatives professional with over 15 years in Taiwan's financial industry. His expertise includes corporate strategy and derivatives financial products, with a deep understanding of corporate treasury functions and capital structures. Earlier in his career Mr. Lai was a derivatives trader at Core Pacific Securities, and was a derivatives structurer at Yuanta, where he helped launch Taiwan's first warrants programme. He also was an executive vice president at Polaris, Taiwan's largest futures broker. Mr. Lai is a Taiwan national and speaks Mandarin and Taiwanese in addition to English fluently. He holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from National Cheng Kung University and a master in statistics from National Taipei University.

Hsi-Chao Chen

Dr. Chen is an expert in optical technology, with over 20 years experience. He specializes in solid state lighting, optical system designs for displays, carbon nanotubes and optical film coating technology. Dr. Chen assists our green energy project companies in their research and product development. Dr. Chen serves on Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs Small Business Innovation Research program's management committee.. This organization assists the government to evaluate green energy projects undertaken by local small businesses. Earlier in his career Dr. Chen was an optical engineer at Delta Electronic Inc., one of Taiwan's most successful hardware manufacturers. Dr. Chen led the projector display research and development team. Dr. Chen is currently an associate professor in the Department of Engineering at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. He also heads the school's Applied Optics Lab. As a scholar, Dr. Chen has published papers in worldwide well known journals such as Optics Express, Electrochimica Acta, and Proc. of SPIE. He owns several patents in optical engineering technology. Dr. Chen earned a bachelor of science in mechanical engineer at National Cheng-Kung University, a master of science in mechanical engineering at National Taiwan University; and a Ph.D. degree in optical engineering from National Central University's Institute of Optical Sciences. Shirley Shu-Hwa Chang

Shirley Chang has more than 20 years experience in the food and beverage industry. She is currently the Managing Director at TGI Fridays restaurants in Taiwan. Prior to joining TGI Fridays, Shirley worked for McDonald's in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the global corporate headquarters in Oakbrook, Illinois. She originally joined the compay among its initial group of employees when the restaurant first opened in Taiwan. From there. Shirley rose to vice president in Taiwan, chief operations officer for Greater China, corporate vice president at global headquarters (the first Asian woman to achieve such a senior role), and Managing Director at McDonald's Hong Kong. Shirley also served as Dean of McDonald's Hamburger University in Hong Kong. Shirley Chang holds an MBA degree from Simon Fraser University, Canada. She is also a qualified business coach who advises senior business leaders and entrepreneurs to develop their businesses strategies.

Tzu-Ming Liu

Dr. Liu is an expert in biomedical engineering with over 10 years experience in the field. He specializes in femtosecond laser technology, nano-phonetics, nonlinear optical microscopy, and pharmacokinetics of nanomedicines. As Wisdom's head of biomedial research, Dr. Liu reviews our project company's biotechnology research and advises on the commercialization of our client's products. Earlier in his career, Dr. Liu was a post-doctoral researcher at National Taiwan University's Graduate Institute of Photonics and Optoelectronics. He also served as an assistant professor at the university's Institute of Biomedical Engineering. He has published papers in highly regarded publications such as the Biomedical Optics Express, Journal of Physical Chemistry, and Hydrobiologia among others. Dr. Liu is the owner of several nano-photonics patents. Dr. Liu earned his bachelor of science in electrical engineering and Ph.D in electro-optical engineering at National Taiwan University.
