I am Professor of Psychiatry at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Southampton, and Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. I lead a specialist tertiary assessment and treatment service for impulsive, compulsive, and behaviourally addictive disorders. I also founded and Direct the NHS (UK) Southern Gambling Treatment Service... My research and clinical work focuses on impulsive, compulsive, and behaviourally addictive problems.
