IGNITION NBS - Key Persons
Alison has been part of the team at Ignition for three and a half years as our Financial Controller. Her main roles include maintaining budgets, financial reporting and monitoring the cash flow in line with governance procedures. Alison is an extremely focused member of the team, when given a task she straight away gets her head down and gets on with it. She says that she views a target as the bare minimum and always sets out to exceed it.
Swimming is a big part of Alison's free time outside of work. Alison is a British Swimming starter, meaning that she is now licensed to officiate at all swimming competitions across the country. She is also an Honorary Age Group and Championship Organiser for the Manchester and District Swimming and Water Polo association. Her likes include sunny days and hot weather. She dislikes (as you probably guessed) rainy days and cold weather.
Andy is Ignition's Client Services Manager and has been with Ignition for many years. His role with us is to ensure that Ignition provides the best quality marketing services to insurance brokers. Andy says he is proud to be part of the team, he's passionate about his work and is always eager to help brokers out.
Due to having a young family a lot of his free time outside of work is spent stood at the side of football pitches and swimming pools, there isn't really much time for himself. Andy is very interested in art, he has an art background as he studied at Art College. Painting and photography both really interest Andy. He likes vegetarian food, spending time with his family and also seeing Ignition deliver high quality marketing for brokers.

Andy joined Ignition in 2016 to lead our digital solutions and development service. With many years of experience in software development and process improvement across many industries, Andy brings a human voice to what can sometimes be very technical language.
Before working directly for Ignition Andy has held "hands-on" leadership roles in IT for international businesses including Pitney Bowes and GE, along with founding his own web and application development business, where Ignition were an important client.
At Ignition, his role is to look across all of our broker clients, ourselves and internal clients within AXA, providing them with opportunities to improve their business through cost-effective digital tools and services. Usability, reliability and supportability are key to all of the web & mobile apps and websites we build.
In his free time, Andy enjoys his family, travelling, listening to music, gaming and inevitably nerding out learning about the latest technologies and how they might improve Ignition's solutions and services.
Ken has been involved in commercial insurances for over 25 years, with a diverse range of experiences from underwriting, consultancy, management and marketing, through to front line sales.
Based in Glasgow, the neighbours think he's a milkman as he is often up and on the road before the ‘youngsters' are getting to their beds. Having spent 3 years selling Ignition services, he is passionate about what Ignition can do to help brokers' businesses grow. ‘My job is to create an environment that truly delivers on time, on budget and with a smile'
