Adriana Delucchi

Adriana Delucchi is a Soil & Irrigation Scientist at Land IQ. While studying soil science she concentrated on irrigation management and agricultural land use. A portion of her studies included mapping soils based on the characterization of chemical and physical properties. Ms. Delucchi also worked in agriculture since 2017, with experience in California specialty crops spanning from the South Sacramento Valley to Coachella. Ms. Delucchi holds a B.S. degree in Environmental Soil Science from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, in addition to her Certified Agricultural Irrigation Specialist and Certified Crop Adviser certifications. She is a member of San Joaquin County Young Farmers & Ranchers, an organization working to support youth interested in agriculture.

Atsushi Tomita

Atsushi Tomita is a Remote Sensing Scientist at Land IQ, LLC. Dr. Tomita has seven years of experience in Remote Sensing as it relates to agriculture and forestry. In his Ph.D. dissertation, Land change history of oil palm plantations in northern Bengkulu Province, Sumatra Island, reconstructed from Landsat satellite archives, he developed a robust system for detecting land cover change which combined several remotely sensed data such as Landsat time series, multi-temporal Google Earth images, and ALOS-2/PALSAR-2. His current interests include utilizing all available remotely sensed data to establish robust land monitoring systems. Dr. Tomita holds a Ph.D. in Earth and Environmental Sciences from City University of New York and a M.A. in Science and Environmental Reporting from New York University.

Bradley Santi

Mr. Santi is a Soil and Agricultural Scientist with Land IQ, LLC. He gained exposure to the agriculture industry while attending UC Davis where he received a Bachelors of Science in Ecological Management and Restoration. After graduating, Mr. Santi began working in the alfalfa research industry where he gained valuable experience in irrigation, crop protection, scouting, and fertilization. Mr. Santi is also skilled in scientific plot studies, field measurements, data collection, data management, and data analysis. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Agronomy from Iowa State University and is a Certified Crop Advisor in California.

Carly Coelho

Ms. Coelho is a Geospatial Scientist at Land IQ. She holds a B.A. in Geology from the University of California, Berkeley. Along with her earth science background she brings experience in geospatial analysis from her research efforts at UC Berkeley and the USGS pertaining to hydrogeomorphology and mineralogical environmental assessments. Ms. Coelho is excited to be part of a team focused on using data-driven models to better inform decision-makers, especially with regards to water management in the state of California.

Casey Gudel is the Client Relations and Project Manager at Land IQ. Ms. Gudel brings an extensive background in agriculture and project management having worked within the agriculture industry since 2006. She manages multiple projects and clients across both land and spatial disciplines. She and her husband also own and operate Gudel Cattle Company, raising Angus and Sim-Angus cattle. Ms. Gudel has her M.S. in Agriculture from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo and a B.S. in Animal Science from California State University, Chico.

Chris Stall

Mr. Stall is a Soil and Agricultural Scientist with Land IQ. Mr. Stall has been working in the field of soil science since 2008. Mr. Stall's technical skills include soil moisture modeling, soil physics, transport of contaminants in soils, soil chemistry, and biosolids land application and management. Mr. Stall's consulting experience includes agricultural yield loss modeling, crop identification/photo interpretation, soil/water/plant relationships in irrigated agricultural systems, crop evapotranspiration, and land evaluation. Mr. Stall's research experience includes nitrogen cycling in forested and managed watershed soils of the Adirondack uplands in New York, and microbial transport in seasonally saturated soils of the North Carolina Coastal Plain. Mr. Stall holds an M.S. in Soil Science with a concentration in Agricultural Engineering from North Carolina State University and is certified as an Associate Certified Soil Scientist.

Cody Fink

Dana Cornell

Prior to pursuing his graduate degree, he worked on farms in the U.S. and abroad, experiencing food systems from an on-the-ground vantage. Greg Fitzgerald

Mr. FitzGerald is a Geospatial Analyst at Land IQ, LLC. He received his Bachelors degree in Spatial Data Science and Technology at the University of Oregon, where he focused on a variety of subjects including web development, cartography, and data science. Mr. FitzGerald contributed to many geospatial projects during his time at the University for both the US Forest Service and InfoGraphic's Lab. He is interested in making the information behind big data easy to understand and interpret, as well as building easy-to-use web applications to visualize data.

JB Buller

Karen Gunther is a Controller with Land IQ where she supports the accounting and human resources operations. She started her career at Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) as an auditor and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1987. She also served as CFO for a major healthcare system and has served as a law firm administrator since 1994. Over the course of her career she has acquired broad expertise managing the financial, human resources, facilities, systems and administrative operations of the organizations she has worked for. She graduated from CSU Chico with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and spending time in the Truckee/Tahoe area.

Laura McFadden

Laura McFadden assists with Land IQ's accounting and administration. Since 2013, Ms. McFadden has worked in customer service, billing, and event planning. Margot Griswold

Dr. Griswold is a Senior Restoration Ecologist with Land IQ. Since 1989, Dr. Griswold has worked within a range of plant communities, and specializes in watershed scale habitat restoration planning, research, soil and water conservation, native plant/soil/water relations, restoration of drastically disturbed sites, rare plant restoration and native plant seed supply procurement and accelerated development. Her experience includes native habitat restoration and reclamation of coastal sage scrub, chaparral, native perennial grasslands, oak woodland habitats, alluvial fan scrub, southern willow-cottonwood riparian forest, and several rare plant species. Dr Griswold was the restoration specialist for the team that restored the award-winning Coyote Canyon/Bonita Creek wildlife habitat corridor in Orange County and was a key member of the team that implemented the Managed Vegetation Dust Control Measure at Owens Dry Lakebed for Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. She has comprehensive experience in coordinating habitat restoration programs with construction managers, design engineers, and landscape contractors on large and small projects. Dr. Griswold has managed the design and successful implementation of over 300 acres of riparian and wetland mitigation projects, 1,700 acres of upland revegetation and restoration projects, and 2,200 acres of land reclamation projects. Through her project work, she has worked closely with many federal, state, and local agencies.

Ms. Heilmann is a founding partner of Land IQ. She holds a B.S. in Soil Science with minors in Viticulture and Water Science-Irrigation from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in addition to her certification as a Certified Professional Soil Scientist (CPSS). She has over 19 years of experience in land classification and environmental, agricultural and water resource consulting, remote sensing applications and project management. Ms. Heilmann is a Principal Scientist and founding partner with Land IQ. She specializes in large-scale land surface mapping and land and water resource evaluation and management. Ms. Heilmann is a technical lead of the team that developed Land IQ's remote land use mapping capabilities over the last 11 years, integrating agronomic knowledge with remote sensing and geospatial analytical techniques. She has over 19 years of experience providing scientific expertise on large-scale land classification, agricultural systems, native vegetation systems, water resource management, irrigation management and agroclimatology and soil-plant-water interactions. An experienced project manager, Mica works closely with clients and stakeholders in evaluating land systems and applying that knowledge in decision making and business systems. Mica leverages a wide range of science and technology advancements to provide innovative, practical, and sustainable solutions for clients. She holds a B.S. in Soil Science with minors in Viticulture and Water Science-Irrigation from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in addition to her certification as a Certified Professional Soil Scientist (CPSS).

Zhongwu Wang

Dr. Wang is the Chief Technology Officer and Director of Spatial Sciences at Land IQ. A lead scientist with Land IQ, Dr. Wang leads multidisciplinary analytical teams, designs robust and efficient analytical approaches and algorithms, and develops automated workflows for accurate and efficient analytical processes. Dr. Wang has worked in the field of remote sensing, GIS and mapping since 2006. Dr. Wang leverages multiresolution spatial and agronomic data to inform land use classification processes and has performed comprehensive crop mapping, native vegetation mapping, crop age analysis, fallowing analysis, and actual evapotranspiration analysis. He has expertise in accuracy assessment techniques and data collection protocols. Dr. Wang is also very interested in statistical data analysis and scientific computing using open source languages such as R and Python. Dr. Wang holds a Ph.D. in Geography with a concentration in Remote Sensing and GIS from University of South Carolina. He received his M.S. in Geography, with a concentration in Remote Sensing and GIS, from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and his B.S. in Environmental Sciences from Peking University.
