Mathew J Manimala

Mathew J Manimala is a Professor of Organization Behaviour and Chairperson-OBHRM Area at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). Prior to joining IIMB, he has served as Senior Member of Faculty and Chairman, Human Resources Area, at the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad. At IIMB he has worked closely with the N S Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) primarily to build the research competencies of the Centre during its early years, when he served as the JamunaRaghavan Chair Professor of Entrepreneurship for two terms and as the Chairperson of NSRCEL for one term. He is a Senior Enterprise Fellow of the School of Entrepreneurship and Business (SEB), University of Essex, UK, and a member of the International Advisory Board of the Institute of Management Innovation at Kinki University, Osaka, Japan. Currently he is the Chairman of the ICIER-India Trust, which is a constituent of the International Consortium for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research (ICIER), a research and consultancy network among institutions in Europe and BRIC countries. He is also the Chairman of Mentor Max, which is initiated by ICIER

Vivek Bhattarai is the current Chief Operations Officer and the co-founder of Maruthsakha Aerospace and Aviation Private Ltd. After completing his graduation in Computer Science, he joined a Bangalore based IT company Microland, as a Network Consultant. After a short stint with the company his entrepreneurial instincts told him to head back to his native place of Sikkim to learn the art of business. First he joined his family business, which was a fuel distribution outlet at Gangtok and helped it grow by working actively as an Assistant Manager. In 2013 he came back to Bangalore and joined an MBA program in Entrepreneurship at Jain University. The course helped him sharpen his business skills more and also gave him opportunity to visit countries such as China, Hong Kong, England, Germany, Netherlands, Italy & Spain on Industrial Visits. Meeting people at different Business Networking sessions and conferences such as "Silicon Valley comes to the UK" at Cambridge University expanded his vision on the opportunities that existed and he felt it was the right time to start up. While studying his MBA he met Bhargava, the current CEO of Maruthsakha Aerospace and Aviation, who was also studying at Jain University. Both of them shared a good rapport from their first meeting and had a common interest in the Aerospace industry which led to forming the company together.
